Have you upgraded any of your computers lately and don't know what to do with your old equipment? Do you need to get it out of your house but not into a landfill? Do you want to feel good in the process? I can help you!
Fenger High School is a Chicago public high school located on the far south side at 112th and Wallace. In 1916 Christian Fenger High School was named after my great grandfather, a surgeon and pathologist who was born, raised and educated in Denmark. He came to America in 1877 and lived in Chicago for the remainder of his life. Christian Fenger served as professor of surgery at Chicago Medical College and Rush Medical College, surgeon-in-chief at Cook County, Passavant, and Mercy Hospitals, and a president of the Chicago Medical Society.
Fenger High School accommodates nearly 1500 students and has limited resources. They are in great need of computers and other related equipment. My goal is to help provide them with a classroom of computers (20-25) to teach a business class. If you have spare computers, printers, scanners, keyboards, monitors, old digital cameras, or cell phones, we can use them. The equipment does not need to be new, however, it should be in working order. If you have any such equipment contact me at Carrie@CarrieHealy.com and I will arrange to deliver it. Thank you for your generosity.
